How to Grow In Christ (Part 5)

Memory Verse:  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 15:58)

Care for other disciples

Text: Matthew 22:39b; Acts 11:28 – 29

The disciples sent food and other things they had to support one another. Love and care is the nature of God Himself so as His child you must look out for the needs of other children of God like you. When you hear someone is sick, pray and plan a visit. If you notice a need you don’t have the means to meet, privately ask a person who can help for support and meet that need. When the disciples in Judea heard that great famine would happen in the world during Claudius Caesar’s reign, they acted and sent support. Start today with a prayer for the needs of those around you.

ACTION: Write a prayer list of others’ needs and keep asking God till the answers come
