WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I REPENT OF MY SINS-2?
TEXT: TEXT: Acts 2:32-40
After Peter finished preaching on the day of Pentecost, the people were sorry for their sins and wanted to know what they needed to do to start a relationship with God. He told them to repent and be baptized by water so that they could receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. He told them that the baptism of the Holy Spirit was for them and their children and for all other people who would repent in other nations far away from Israel. This passage shows that God is interested in starting a relationship with children just the same way He wants to relate with adults. But in case the church you attend with your parents is one where they won’t have children your age baptized, still, ask the Lord to baptize you with the Spirit as He promised. When you attain the age they can baptize, you can ask to be baptized by water then.
PRAYER: Thank You, Father, for the promise of the Holy Spirit which You fulfilled on the day of Pentecost. I ask that You fill me with Your precious Spirit and empower me to live victoriously, in Jesus’ name, amen.
