A Living Sacrifice
Romans 12:1 -8
vs 1 ” Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”
True worship is the result of a life that has completely yielded to the master. The expression ‘ Living Sacrifice’ is an identity every believer must possess.
Paul’s emphasis on this subject was that every christian must never see his worship to God as ordinary. We are to present or position ourselves as living sacrifice before our worship can be accepted.
Abraham was an example of a life that was completely yielded to God. He offerred his only son, not considering all the circumstances surrounding the son.
For every believer the consciousness of offering a reasonable service should drive the way we approach God.
