Zaccheus Left The Crowd
ZACCHAEUS LEFT THE CROWD
TEXT: 2 Cor6:17, Luke 19:1-10, 4-5
Zacchaeus left the crowd because he knew the crowd would hide him and cover his view of Jesus. He didn’t want to remain where anything or anyone would stop him from seeing Jesus. Jesus stopped by and spoke to him because he separated himself. In fact, He didn’t just talk with him, He chose to visit his house! In your own life, the crowd can be the things you don’t want to stop doing because other people say it’s okay to do them. The crowd could also be the friends you spend time with even though you know they are not godly friends. Jesus wants you to leave that crowd today so He can see you. Just as we came to the earth alone, we will also stand before God alone. Don’t let any kind of crowd stop you from seeing Jesus, receive the power to run out from their midst today in Jesus’ name, amen!
Pray: Dear Lord, I pray that You give me the courage to move away from the crowd and separate myself from everything that is distracting me from seeking Your face, in Jesus’ name, amen.
