Lessons from the wise virgins: they refused to be in darkness

Text: Galatians 3:3
The bridegroom’s requirement was that the virgins be ready and have their lamps burning with light at His return. They said no to anything that could be their excuse for being in darkness. What are the sins you excuse with reasons like,” God understands that if I don’t lie, I won’t get the stingy people to support me with money” etc. No excuse was accepted when the foolish virgins returned. Likewise, Jesus will not take any excuses from us now. If you have anything or any reason why you do not meet up with God’s standard, take it to God in prayers and he will help you with such.
Pray: Lord, please expose and destroy anything in my life that will make you meet me in darkness, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
