Who is Jesus Christ to you? – Righteous Judge
Who is Jesus Christ to you? – Righteous Judge
Text: Luke 12: 4-5, John 15: 13-15, John 5:22& 27, Acts 10:38-42, John 12:47-48, Acts 17:30-31.
Memory Verse: “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” 2Corinthians 5:10
Jesus is our righteous judge; he did not come to the world to judge but to save the people from their sins. What this means is that; Jesus main purpose was to save people from their sins then if they choose not to believe and accept him, they have chosen judgment; see John 12:47-48 and John 3:18. Jesus has been chosen by God as the perfect and righteous judge because He lived on earth as a man and was found worthy to be judge over the believers and unbelievers; see John 5:22-23.
My prayer is that we will all be found worthy by the righteous judge to reign with Him forever in heaven. We must see Jesus as everything; from Saviour to Righteous Judge and ensure to have a relationship with Him that will give him the opportunity to be all what we have discussed and more.
Meditation – Lord Jesus, thank you for being a righteous judge because with you I am sure that you would always give the right judgement to all
