HOW DO I REASON WITH GOD?
TEXT: 1 John 1:8-10,
To reason with God is to admit like Zacchaeus, that you have sinned and that you are sorry for offending Him. You confess the sins you remember and ask God to forgive you. When you ask God to forgive your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness, you are repenting. When you repent of sin, God is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. Admitting you have sinned allows God to cleanse all your sin with the blood of Jesus, change your sinful nature and give you His own nature so you can be like Him and start a relationship with Him.
ACTION PLAN: Are there things you’ve done that you know offend God? Confess them to Him and ask Him to forgive you and cleanse you from them.
