Choose who you will serve The Father’s advice

The Father’s advice: Text: Deut.30:19-20, 17-18
God is loving, thoughtful and kind. We came from Him and He made us for His pleasure. It is not His desire that anyone He created should suffer. As a loving father and a just Judge, He told the Israelites the outcome of choosing other gods instead of Him. A good life with many years in a land of their own was guaranteed for they and their children if they chose to serve and cleave to Him. Do you know that there are people who serve other gods without realizing it? What are gods? They are things you spend a large amount of your free time doing – it could be talking, watching a program, playing a game or any other thing that is not glorifying to God. Remember who you serve will determine how your life on earth turns our and where you will spend eternity. Devote at least an hour and a half daily to prayer, bible study, godly messages singing to God and preaching to other young people.
Pray: Father, I make a decision to serve you and you only all my life. help me to love and obey you faithfully in Jesus’ name, amen.
