God Provides for Isaac
God Provides for Isaac
TEXT: Genesis 26:1-6, 12
When there was a famine in the land where Isaac lived, he decided to go to Egypt but he heard God ask him to remain in the land where the famine was. He planted in that land because he had heard God; the same year, the crops grew and he harvested one hundred times more than he planted.
Hearing God can lead people to the right business, right schools, and even to meet the right friends. Isaac and his family were saved from hunger and lack that year because he stayed and worked where God asked him to.
As Children, if you will continue to walk with God, you will begin to hear His voice, just the same way you know the voice of your father without anyone teaching you, in the same way, you will know the voice of God without anyone teaching you, once you are in close relationship with Him. Make it a duty to always hear the voice of God on all issues of your life.
Pray: Father, I recognize that You know what’s best for me. Order my steps and cause me to always be at the center of Your will, so that I will prosper in my life, in Jesus’ name, amen.
