The 3 Hebrew Boys
Text: Dan. 3:12-20, 26-30
MV: If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasures Job 36:11
Even though they were captives in Babylon, the three Hebrew boys refused to be intimidated by king Nebuchadnezzar threat to throw them into the burning fiery furnace. It seemed as if God put an invisible fireproof shield around them the moment they declared that they would rather die serving and obeying God than the god of the Babylonians. The fire they were thrown into killed the mighty men Nebuchadnezzar ordered to throw them in. God did not only deliver them, He made sure everything that belonged to them was untouched! Their courage and determination caused Nebuchadnezzar to glorify to God and even promote them!
Pray: Lord, give me the grace to serve you with strong courage and determination even in difficult times, in Jesus’ name, amen.
