Others
“OTHERS”
Job was healed when he prayed for his friends (OTHERS)-JOB 42:10.
We can always know someone’s heart when we listen to his/her prayers.
Without fear or favour, I dare say one of the challenges facing our prayer lives is that all we do most of the time is to pray for nothing or no one else than ourselves and ours alone.
No wonder, we rarely spend quality time in the secret place of the most high.
Can you imagine that after a few minutes of prayers, we open our eyes and wonder why other people pray for a long time?
But, sincerely you’ll agree that Job had greater problems than anyone of us and he seriously needed personal prayers too. For example, Job was sick and afflicted in so many ways, he lost all his children, his businesses, his properties, some of his servants, even his wife advised him to curse GOD and die, his friends accused him of committing a secret sin which must have been the reason for his sudden predicaments. Despite all these difficulties, Job still thought of “OTHERS”, he remembered his friends and prayed for them.
Hmm… “…The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”-James 5:16.
Please, have you prayed for OTHERS today?
