Godly agreement towards actualizing God’s eternal agenda

Agreement and unity is a powerful tool that facilitates the actualization of set goals and objectives. See God’s attestation in Genesis 11:6 And the Lord said, “If as one people all sharing a common language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be beyond them”. This is the power and the expansive influence that unity wields.
We have clear scriptural instructions that forbid keeping a close relationship with unbelievers and those who have turned out of the way of righteousness. Neither should we unite against the purpose of God- 2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
There are ample examples of people who tried this and almost lost their lives and ministry due to this ungodly yoke. II Chronicles 18:1,3,31; I Kings 3:1. Any uprising or alliance that negates the will of God or goes beyond the confines of His grace must be fiercely and persistently rebuffed. We must not allow any pressure, need, circumstance, or present gain to push us into any ungodly affinity that would endanger our abiding relationship with Christ and ultimately hinder our eternal destination with Him.
From the texts, there’s an allowance for believers through the nudge of the Holy Spirit to join forces together in actualizing kingdom mandates. A lot of scriptural texts give credence to the exponential increase that attends the godly bond between brethren. Be it, Judah with Simeon on the level of congregation, or Barak with Deborah on an individual level, the church and people of God must come together in godly unity to stop the affront of the enemy. Christ exemplified this through His relationship with the disciples. Even though He was the Son of God and all-powerful, He still needed them to carry out kingdom assignments for the ultimate delivery of God’s purpose on the earth.
Apostle Paul cultivated diverse relationships during his time that contributed to the success that attained his work. He had many “fellow workers, burden bearers, yokefellows, and fellow prisoners”, both men and women like Timothy, Titus, Clement, Priscilla, and Aquila, etc. whom he cited in many texts in his epistles. These were instrumental in finishing the course of the gospel delivered to him.
Believers in this generation need to bind themselves with fellows who possess an earnest desire for the actualization of God’s kingdom on earth and then in unity and oneness in Christ, work tirelessly according to the leading voice of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 13:1-2 Now in the church that was at Antioch there were certain prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”
We would go a long way, work more productively, and achieve God’s heartbeat if we allow unity and love to be the leading voices in our congregation. Leviticus 26:8 Five of you will pursue a hundred, and a hundred of you will pursue ten thousand, and your enemies will fall before you by the sword.
