The virgins took lamps so they could have light for their journey. We live in a world of sin and evil, spiritual darkness is everywhere and God’s word is the light we need to overcome the darkness every day. It is a light for the path of everyone who wants to meet Jesus Christ. The more of God’s word we have in our hearts the better our understanding of what He desires of us and the easier it becomes for us to follow His instructions.
ACTION: Study, meditate and act on God’s pure word daily to keep your heart pure and glowing with light.
